WETA Digital To Give Behind the Scenes Look at RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES

Tomorrow, April 13th, on the Avatar facebook page, WETA Digital, the company that did the special effects for Avatar and the Lord of the Rings movies, will host a livestream event to "give viewers an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at their work on RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES" at 2:30 pm (Pacific Daylight Time).

There will be a fan Q&A session, so post your questions to the facebook fan page for RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES and be on the Avatar page for their livestream event.

From their press release:

In the film's story, a single act of both compassion and arrogance leads to a war unlike any other -- and to the RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES.  It stars James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Brian Cox, Tom Felton, David Oyelowo and Andy Serkis as Caesar.

SWEET! This looks interesting. I'd like to see a sequel that actually shows the war and how we lost, and then we can go into the territory of the old films and TV show. Oh and the siren beat was used in the "Inception" trailer too. This one seems a little different though as it's not as pronounced and actually just sounds like part of the music as opposed to an additional sound effect.
